The Little New Year, is celebrated on the 23rd day of the twelfth month of the Chinese calendar. It honors the Kitchen God.

People sacrifice the kitchen with barley sugar, a sticky treat made out of glutinous millet and sprouted wheat. It is thought that this will seal the Kitchen God's mouth and encourage him only say good things about the family when he ascends to heaven to make his report.

Our company share the barley sugar with workers and feel the fun of sticking teeth. For more, we hope they take sweet back to home for festival and share the sweetness of a year's harvest with their family.
